  shopping at fist choice for some drinks for tonight I have arthritis in both hands and shoulders so took my son to get it out of the fridge and take to the counter got my card out to pay but was told my son needed ID I explained he was just carrying it for me because of my arthritis but that wasn't good enough so she said she wasn't serving me so now I've told first choice I will never use their services again so now my drinks will be from BWS.

  Huge stock of alcohols with good customer service. Very strict and firm to rules too which makes a safer community.

  I'm 33 & my friend is 24, I went to buy alcohol for myself and was asked for my I.d, I produced it, then my friend was asked..she hadn't brought her purse as she wasn't buying anything.. I was told I then couldn't make my purchase by Nigel the check out guy, I explained it was for me, and that I took my kids all the time. He said he assumed she would drink it with me so I couldn't buy it! We left & I went back in alone & was still told NO! We drove to the other side of wodonga so that she could get her I.d...back we went & then we were served, I asked if I have my daughter come with me when she is 16-17 would I be served he said no...so she would have to sit in the car like a dog so that I could get a drink...your a joke Nigel..and I'll never return to 1st choice again who is now my last choice!!!

  Good range of common varieties of wine and beer, but less so for the lower volume sales varieties.
